General
What is PowerDedi?
PowerDedi is a provider of bare-metal dedicated servers sold the way cloud servers are: self-service, delivered in about 15 minutes for in-stock configurations, billed monthly with no contract. Every server has a 10 Gbps unmetered port, and we accept cryptocurrency only.
How can you be so much cheaper than other providers?
Four things: crypto-only billing (no card fees, no chargebacks), hardware bought in volume and run for years, wholesale transit plus direct peering, and a fully automated platform. Each saves a few percent; together they put our prices about 40% below comparable offers. How we price
How is the “market average” price calculated?
For every configuration we take the median public list price of the same CPU, memory and storage at major European and US providers, excluding setup fees and VAT, with their standard 1 Gbps port. Across the 19 providers we checked that sell 10 Gbps unmetered, that option adds about $630 a month (median; from $100 to $1,500). Prices were checked in September 2026.
How much does it cost to rent a dedicated server?
From $55 to $1,790 a month, depending on the hardware: from a 6-core Ryzen with 32 GB to a 192-core EPYC with 1.5 TB. Every price includes the 10 Gbps unmetered port, DDoS protection and IPMI, with no setup fee. Cheapest server for each need
What is the difference between a VPS and a dedicated server?
A VPS is a slice of a shared machine: its CPU, disks and network are shared with other customers. A dedicated server is the whole physical machine, used by you alone, with full root and IPMI access. Here it also comes with its own 10 Gbps unmetered port, for the price of a mid-size VPS elsewhere. Dedicated server vs VPS
How do I compare hosts that accept crypto?
Check everything before you pay, because a crypto payment cannot be charged back: when identity is asked (before or after payment), the exact coins and networks, how short payments and refunds are handled, the port speed and how bandwidth is billed, DDoS protection, IPMI access, delivery times and the public Acceptable Use Policy. The 12-point checklist
What’s the catch?
The trade-offs are deliberate: crypto payments only, no phone support, no managed services and no Windows licenses. If that fits how you work, there is no catch: the listed price is the price you pay, and traffic is never billed.
Servers & hardware
Is the hardware really dedicated to me?
Yes. Every server is a physical machine used by you alone: no hypervisor, no shared CPU, no noisy neighbors. You get full root access plus IPMI / KVM out-of-band access.
How fast will my server be ready?
Configurations marked “~15 min” are in stock and provisioned automatically once your payment confirms on-chain. Built-to-order configurations show their delivery time (24 or 72 hours) next to the price. Instant servers
Which operating systems can I install?
Debian 13 and 12, Ubuntu 26.04 and 24.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 10 and 9, Rocky Linux 10 and 9, Proxmox VE 9 and FreeBSD in one click. Any other OS can be installed from an ISO through the IPMI / KVM console.
Can I run Windows Server?
Yes, with your own license. Mount the ISO from the IPMI / KVM console and install it as on any physical machine. We do not sell Windows licenses.
How do I reach the IPMI / KVM console?
From the client area, in your browser. The console works even when the OS does not boot: you see the BIOS, can mount an ISO and power-cycle the machine. The management interface is never exposed on the public internet. Console guide
What happens if hardware fails?
Open a ticket and we confirm the fault with you. Replacement starts within one hour of confirmation, with a target of four hours for standard parts, as set out in our SLA.
Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?
Yes. Billing is monthly with no contract. Extra IPv4 addresses can be added at any time; memory and disk upgrades are quoted per configuration. Cancel whenever you want: your server stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Do you back up my server?
No. You are responsible for your data and backups. A storage server in another city makes a good off-site target. Storage and backup
Network
What does “10 Gbps unmetered” actually mean?
No transfer quota, no overage fee, no 95th-percentile billing and no inbound/outbound ratio: we never count or bill your traffic. Every server has its own 10 Gbps port, not shared with anyone else, and you can run it hard around the clock. As on any network, the uplinks beyond your port are shared, so real-world throughput also depends on the route to the other end. We only step in on traffic that harms the network (attacks, packet floods, abuse) and, unless an attack is in progress, we contact you first.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, on every server at no extra cost. Network-level (L3/L4) mitigation is always on and filters volumetric attacks at our edge, before they reach your port. Application-level (L7) attacks need protection on your side, such as rate limiting. DDoS protection
How many IP addresses do I get?
One dedicated IPv4 address and a routed /64 IPv6 subnet per server. Extra IPv4 addresses cost $2.50 per month each, up to 16 per server; a /56 IPv6 is free on request. IP addresses
Is outbound email (port 25) open?
Outbound port 25 is blocked by default to protect the reputation of our IP ranges. Open a ticket to have it opened for a legitimate mail server; we check that reverse DNS, SPF and DKIM are set up.
Do you offer private networking between servers?
Not as a self-service feature yet. Servers reach each other over their 10 Gbps public interfaces at no cost; encrypt that traffic with WireGuard.
Where are your servers located?
Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Zürich, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore and Tokyo, in carrier-neutral facilities. Each configuration lists the cities where it is available. All locations
How can I check network performance?
Once your server is live, test it with iperf3 against several targets; our guide explains how to read the results. Before you order, check the typical latencies listed on each location page. Speed test guide
Payments & billing
Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?
Five: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Monero (XMR), Tether (USDT) on the TRON network (TRC-20) and Solana (SOL). Crypto payments
How long is the crypto price locked?
Prices are in USD, and the crypto amount is locked when you open a payment: for 30 minutes, or 45 minutes for Bitcoin and Monero. A payment confirmed shortly after the window is still detected and credited.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Payments are confirmed automatically when the exact amount arrives. If you sent less or more, report it from the payment page with the transaction ID: we credit what arrived to your account balance.
What if I send on the wrong network?
Always send the exact coin on the exact network shown on the payment page; USDT is accepted on TRON (TRC-20) only. If a payment arrives on the wrong network or as the wrong token, report it from the payment page: we try to recover it when technically possible, but cannot guarantee it.
Is there a minimum payment?
Yes: top-ups start at $100. Your balance pays the first month of a new server and then its renewals, so one top-up usually covers several months. Unused balance is refundable within 30 days of the top-up. Payment guide
How do renewals work?
Renewal invoices are issued 7 days before the due date. If your account balance covers them, they are paid automatically, so topping up once is enough to renew on autopilot.
What happens if I don’t pay a renewal?
There is a 3-day grace period after the due date. The server is then suspended, and terminated 7 days later with its disks securely wiped. Wiped data cannot be recovered.
Can I get a refund?
Unused account balance is refundable within 30 days of the top-up, and servers that are not delivered on time are refunded in full. Delivered months are otherwise not refundable. Refund Policy
Do you accept cards, PayPal or bank transfers?
No. Crypto-only billing removes card fees and chargeback fraud, and that saving is part of our prices.
Account & privacy
How do I contact support?
Customers with an active server open support tickets from their client area; engineers answer within a few hours, 24/7 for outages. Support never happens by email or through a public form, and everything else, from payment problems to refunds and data requests, is self-service. How support works
Do you require ID or KYC?
No. An email address is enough to open an account and order. We do enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and act on verified abuse reports, which keeps our IP ranges clean for everyone. No-KYC dedicated servers
What does “no KYC” mean?
KYC (“know your customer”) is identity verification: a passport scan, a selfie or a card before you get a server. No KYC means we never ask for any of it. Because we accept crypto only, there are no chargebacks to protect against, so an email address is all we need.
What personal data do you keep?
Your email address, billing records (invoices, amounts, deposit addresses and transaction hashes), service data such as your server’s configuration and IPs, and the messages you send us. No ID documents, no card data. Privacy Policy
Do you monitor what I do on my server?
No. We never access the contents of your server unless you ask us to or a competent authority legally compels us. Our DDoS systems look at traffic volumes and packet rates, not content.
How do you handle law-enforcement requests?
We only act on valid orders from competent authorities and notify you when we are legally allowed to. We can only provide what we hold: essentially your email address, billing records and service data.
Policies
What is not allowed on your network?
Spam, phishing, malware and botnets, attacks on other networks (DDoS, brute force, unauthorized scanning), fraud, child sexual abuse material and anything illegal in the country where the server is located. Acceptable Use Policy
Can I run a VPN or a Tor relay?
VPN services are allowed; you handle abuse reports about your users. Non-exit Tor relays are welcome; exit relays need our prior written approval and a reduced exit policy.
Is cryptocurrency mining allowed?
CPU mining is allowed. GPU mining is not permitted on GPU servers.
What uptime do you guarantee?
99.9% network availability per calendar month. Below that, you receive service credits of 10% to 100% of the server’s monthly fee, depending on the downtime. Service Level Agreement
How do I report abuse from one of your IP addresses?
Use our abuse form with the IP address, timestamps and evidence. Every report is reviewed by a person. Report abuse
