Solutions · Game servers
Dedicated game servers that hold their tick rate.
Minecraft, Rust, FiveM and ARK are limited by single-thread speed. Ryzen 9000 CPUs up to 5.7 GHz, 3D V-Cache on the 9950X3D and always-on DDoS protection keep servers smooth when they fill up.

Why PowerDedi
Built for smooth ticks and low latency.
Clock speed firstMost game servers run their world on one main thread. Boost clocks of 5.1 to 5.7 GHz keep ticks on time.
3D V-CacheThe 9950X3D stacks 64 MB of extra L3 cache, which helps large worlds and heavy mods stay responsive.
DDoS protection includedVolumetric attacks are filtered at our edge before they reach your port, on every server, at no extra cost.
Near your playersFour European cities, three in the US, plus Singapore and Tokyo.
Sizing
Sizing by game.
Typical requirements for one server instance. Mods, plugins, map size and player count move these numbers a lot.
| Game | CPU profile | Memory per instance | Our pick |

| Modded Minecraft (large packs) | High clock, 4–6 cores | 10–16 GB | Ryzen 9 9950X3D |
| Rust (100–200 players) | High clock, 4+ cores | 10–16 GB | Ryzen 9 9950X3D |
| Counter-Strike 2 | 1–2 cores per server | 2–4 GB | Ryzen 7 7700 · many servers |
| FiveM (GTA V roleplay) | High clock | 4–8 GB plus database | Ryzen 9 9950X |
| ARK: Survival Ascended | 4–6 cores | 12–16 GB | Ryzen 9 9950X |
| Palworld | 4+ cores | 16–32 GB | Ryzen 9 9900X |

FAQ
Game servers: questions, answered.
Still have a question? Customers with an active server get answers from engineers in a support ticket.
Support ticketsCan I use Pterodactyl, Pelican or AMP?
Yes. You get a bare-metal server with root access: install any game panel, Docker or your own tooling. Linux panels install in minutes on Debian or Ubuntu.
Some game servers need Windows. Is that possible?
Yes. Install Windows Server with your own license from an ISO through the IPMI / KVM console. We do not resell Windows licenses.
Does the DDoS protection cover game traffic?
Network-level floods (UDP floods, amplification, SYN floods) are filtered for every server. Attacks that mimic valid game packets need game-aware filtering on your side, such as proxy plugins or protocol-level rate limits.
Which location should I pick?
The one closest to most of your players. As a rule of thumb, players notice latency above about 60 to 80 ms. Each location page lists typical latency to nearby cities.
Can I resell game servers to my own customers?
Yes. You are responsible for your customers’ use under our Acceptable Use Policy, and for answering abuse reports about them.
